Nick Bultman makes paint look suspended in space. Combining sweeping pours and splashes with airbrushed gradients, masked edges, and carefully placed shadows, he creates abstract paintings that seem to extend far beyond their surface. The fascinating part is watching that depth develop. Loose streams of color weave around sharp geometric forms, while painted highlights and shadows make shapes appear to bend, float, and overlap.
