Why it worked
The video leverages a high-interest topic—AI limitations—and uses a visually arresting, mysterious hook that promises a solution to a common modern concern.
Summary
The video showcases a visual experiment called Ghost Font, which uses moving patterns of dots to hide text from AI vision systems. While the text is readable to humans through motion, it appears as random noise to AI models.
Structure
- 1Introduction of Ghost Font
- 2Explanation of the visual mechanism
- 3Demonstration of AI failure to read the text
Product placement
Ghost Font: A visual experiment/font designed to be unreadable by AI. It appears as a static image of noise but reveals text through motion. It is the subject of the video as it is the specific innovation being reported on. Removing it would change the entire topic of the video. (a) It ACTS: the video demonstrates its function by showing how it hides text from AI.

Original caption
A designer created “Ghost Font,” a visual experiment designed to make text difficult for AI vision systems to interpret. The letters are hidden inside moving patterns of tiny dots, so humans can perceive the message through motion, while a paused frame looks like random noise. Early tests showed some AI models struggling to decipher it correctly — although it is not a permanent way to stop AI from reading text.
