SAY GOODBYE TO 'THE SHOPPES' 👀

Say goodbye to the Shoppes at Chino Hills, at least as we know it. The property just sold for 157 million. And the new owners are already planning some major changes. That can mean new restaurants, new stores, and possibly new homes. The first change: the name is going from "The Shoppes at Chino Hills" to "The Shops at Chino Hills." But this is about more than dropping a couple letters. The new owners plan to rebrand and reposition the shopping center with more nationally recognized retailers, restaurants, and experiences that Chino Hills currently doesn't have. And here's the part most people probably don't know. The city previously designated part of the property for mixed-use development, opening the door for up to 267 housing units above retail space. So we could eventually see a completely different experience at this property. This is another major investment coming into the Inland Empire. And it could completely change this part of Chino Hills.
