I was so embarrassed the night that I wore this dress. I wore it to an event for my husband’s workplace. It was the first year that he worked there; he was calling it the “annual ball”. So I thought, okay, this sounds formal and glam. I’ll wear a ball dress. When I was browsing ball dresses, I came across this wedding dress, and I thought, well, that’s just a white ball dress. So I love it, so I bought it. When I turned up to the event, absolutely nobody else was wearing a ball gown. People were just wearing nice dresses, little black dresses. I was speaking to a woman at the bar wearing a pantsuit. Everyone said they were going to the pub afterwards to get some drinks, and I was like, yeah, well, I can’t because I’m wearing a wedding dress with a train. Now, I’m always overdressed, but this was a bit much. We’re going again this Saturday, and I have learned that it is not, in fact, a ball and that I should not wear a wedding dress with a train. I’ll probably still be overdressed because that’s just always my vibe. But I know for sure now that this is not a ball. #OOTD #outfit #outfits #ootn #ballgown
