I was the first doctor in my family and other random things you probably don’t know about me! I developed a fear of public speaking in primary school after being sternly scolded for making an error whilst reading to the class. It creeps back some days it I mostly overcame during university where we presented a lot in a supportive environment. I used to write a blog. My most read post was about professional burnout. My husband was my first and only boyfriend! I seriously considered fashion as a career at one point. I worked a lot of fashion retail jobs, but those jobs helped me understand that I preferred it as a hobby rather than a career path. I’ve always been quite athletic, loved movement, and my morning workouts are still one of my favorite parts of the day. I loved running and tennis in particular as a kid. My first job after internship was pathology. I thought I wanted to be the next state pathologist but post-mortems are actually were lot more distressing and grueling than I ever anticipated. It wasn’t for me! I rotated through a hospital in Chicago during medical school. I thought I wanted to be a surgeon in the U.S. I even started the process of doing the U.S. board exams, but ultimately decided that path wasn’t for me. I strangely weirdly like studying and find it relaxing! I took the scenic route to becoming a GP but got a lot of experience along the way. GP was definitely the right path for me in the end 🩷 Do you relate to any of these? Which surprised you the most? Will I live to regret sharing that I was an alter server 😂😂 Feel free to rinse me below 😂 #school #career #fashion #tennis #memories
