Why it worked

The video likely resonated due to the inherent cuteness and rarity of the subject matter, combined with the compelling narrative of rescue, rewilding, and the filmmaker's intimate access to the animals.

Summary

A National Geographic Explorer and wildlife filmmaker, Sandesh Kadur, had an intimate encounter with a clouded leopard cub in India's northeast. The video shows the cub interacting closely with Kadur, who was documenting orphaned cubs being rewilded and eventually released back into their natural habitat.

Structure

1Introduction of the clouded leopard cub and filmmaker
2The cub's close interaction with the filmmaker
3Explanation of the cubs' rescue and rewilding process

Cutie close-up! A clouded leopard cub got up close and personal with Nat Geo Explorer and wildlife filmmaker Sandesh Kadur in India’s remote northeast. 🐾📸 #natgeo #leopard That is incredible. We are back now with Jamie 3 and our moment on earth. And an adorable encounter. Thanks to our friends at National Geographic. That is a clouded leopard cub getting up close to Nat Geo Explorer and wildlife filmmaker Sandesh Kadur in India's remote northeast. Kadur, he came across the story of two orphaned clouded leopard cubs that have been rescued and were in the process of being rewilded. And clearly, you can see there for yourself, they're still comfortable around humans. So he documented the cubs as they grew older, eventually seeing them go back into their home. They're gorgeous too. How incredible. That is a clouded leopard cub getting up close to Nat Geo Explorer and wildlife filmmaker Sandesh Kadur in India's remote northeast.
