So I hired a outside cleaning company to clean my home and I'm gonna tell you guys why I didn't hire my cleaning company to clean my home. Well first off, if you're new here, hi, my name is Nisea and I'm the owner of Mitchie Cleaning and we service Philly and Philly suburbs, New Jersey and Delaware. We also service the DMV area, that's DC, Maryland and Virginia. We are a small business but we do big things and by big things I mean we do everything from commercial cleaning, residential cleaning, whole home resets, carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing, you name it, we do it here at Mitchie Cleaning. Now here's the tea, why I did not hire my cleaning service, Mitchie Cleaning to clean my home and I want to start off by referencing by saying I only wanted my daughter room and bathroom cleaned, that's it. Okay, we all know how teenage girls rooms look, okay? I'll save that for another post and go into that, teenage girls rooms. I've been saying for weeks that I am going to go in there and do it, but with me being in grad school, having 20 plus employees, a mom, trying to workout and trying to cook a meal here and there, I just do not have the time to go in there and dedicate the amount of time that I want to really deep detail clean and get her room organized. So I added my house to the schedule for next week and I immediately took my home off the schedule and here's why. I feel like it's a power dynamic to have your employees coming into your home to clean it. I'm like, it just felt like that would be a power trip. I didn't I didn't like the feeling of that. Um even though I know that they would have went, they would have nailed it, all right? I set the standard so they definitely would have cleaned it to my standard because I they know my standard and I set the standard. So I know they would have what, top to bottom, hung everything up, baseboards, dust, vacuuming, mop under beds and folded everything up. They would have did it top to bottom, all right? And I also want to say, I am not expecting the young lady that came today to do it to my standard. Why you hints, I'm outside. I'm like, let me get out of her way. I'm not expecting to do it to my standard at all. She got to do it to her standard and I'm not going to give her a hard way to go. She gave me a price, I doubled the price and I tipped. Um because it wasn't quite enough for the job I felt like. And again, I don't expect her to do it to my standard. I expect expect her to do it to her standard. But I know how I like things, but I'm just happy to have the help. I didn't want to do it, I hired somebody to do it, so I got to trust them to do it. Long as she put a dent in that room, even if I have to go in there and put my little touches on it, I'm okay with that. I just didn't want to do it. Okay, I got estimates to give, I got walkthroughs to do, I got teams in the field, I got to hire, I got a lot going on, okay? And I did not want to have my people in my home cleaning. I feel like that was a power trip and I went back and forth with that for so long and I'm like, if you got to think that hard on something, that mean don't do it. So that's why I didn't hire my company even though I know that they would have gave me exactly what I wanted and needed plus more. How do y'all feel about this subject? All right, bye y'all.
