Why it worked
The video leverages celebrity name-dropping and a relatable, humorous social anxiety scenario to keep viewers engaged with the creator's personality.
Summary
A creator tells a story about having Khloé Kardashian's phone number and decides to draft a text message to ask for a fragrance while shopping at a Sephora store. The video focuses on the humorous process of crafting the perfect text message.
Structure
- 1Creator shares a story about having a celebrity's phone number
- 2Creator explains why she has never used the number
- 3Creator decides to draft a text message to ask for a perfume
- 4Creator demonstrates the process of writing the message
Product placement
Sephora (a) ACTS: the creator is physically inside a Sephora store, browsing shelves of products, which provides the setting for the video's narrative. Removing it would change the context of the video as the location is central to the action.
