Hii! Here it is, the tutorial on how to make these DIY balloon wands. Here is what you need: a balloon pump, linking balloons. Those are the balloons that have the two ends, they have this tie end on one side as well as some curling ribbon or a foil backdrop. I like to start by blowing up two balloons at a time. I blow them up a little more and then I shrink them down to the size I want. I think shrinking them down helps them not pop as much. I just want to kind of match their sizes and then I tie it by twisting twice and then tying one knot. And I'm going to do that two more times. Then I'm going to take the tails of the tying the link balloons and tying those together in the same way. You can keep these going as long as you want, so I'm just going to blow up one more balloon. If you want to clean these up, you can cut the tails off. You don't have to, but it just gives it a little bit of a cleaner knot look. Now that you have your balloon wand part, we're going to put them on the balloon wand with the knotted side of the balloon. I found these sticks on Amazon, literally they're called balloon sticks. They come in two pieces, I got a pack of 25. You put them together and then it has a spot where you can put that knot. So I just kind of stuck it in one of the holes and just wiggled it through until I ran out of spots and got all the way back to itself so it was really secure on there. And even if I shook it really hard, it didn't come off. Now for the tassel part. I use foil backdrops for the ones that are in my original video. This one, I had curling ribbon on hand so I'm using that. I just cut a couple of pieces as long as you want your tassel, and I left them folded in half on one side and cut the ends on the other, that way I could loop it through that linking tie on the end of the balloons. Optional detail, I'm curling the ends of my tails just to give it that little extra whimsy, but you definitely can just leave it as is if you wanted to. And that's how you make the balloon wands. It's pretty easy. All the balloons I used and the supplies I used are linked in my Amazon storefront if you want these, but again, any linking balloons will do the trick. Hope this helps make some magically memories!!
