Let's do my hair together. So I showered. Uh I don't think my hair is wet enough right now, so we're going to wet it some more. Don't mind this industrial ass spray bottle. My hair is wavy to curly. I actually think that wavy hair is like one of the harder types of hair to style. Can't really treat it like curly hair. It's definitely not straight. I'm just going to section off about half of my hair. I have bottom half here and we're just going to split this and detangle it. I also don't have any gel or mousse right now, which sucks, but it's okay. We'll just do without it. All right, first step, leave-in conditioner. I'm just going to run it through. Also use a leave-in conditioner by Odele, so this brand but the leave-in. That one's really good as well. If you struggle with definition, that's a really good one. Next I go in with the curl cream. This is the Odele curl cream. I love this one and it smells amazing. Ooh, that was so much. Okay, we'll use that between both sides. And make sure like pretty much every single strand of hair is coated. And you don't want your hair like stuck to your head. I wouldn't rake it down like that. I would rake it out. I'll take my fingers and run it through my scalp and bring it out. And same thing I'll go from underneath and out. Once I've done this is when I would go in with gel or mousse, but I don't have either, so we're not going to do that. I'll go in with the microfiber towel and scrunch. Now we take down the second section. And this is important because we don't want to have a part. So without actually making a line here, I'm literally just split in half here and detangle it. You're just going to repeat it. Leave-in conditioner. Main thing you want to focus on though is not actually allowing your hair to find a way to split into two. Now again more curl cream. I have a lot of hair, so I'm pretty generous with the amount of product I use. The main thing you want to worry about with wavy hair is it's not curly hair, so you do want to go lighter on the type of products. For instance, this leave-in is very light. I also consider this curl cream very light. You just don't want something too heavy that's going to weigh them down. And scrunch all the way up to the root. Grab your hair from the root and squeeze it. You should feel it almost tugging at your scalp slightly because waves can curl from the root. You just need a little more encouragement. And I pretty much flip it like every which way. This is what it looks like for right now. From here, you can decide if you want to put a clip on your root or not. I think I am today just to lift it a bit more and I'll let it sit and air dry until it's ready.
