I'm a teacher I just got paid, let's break down what I do with my paycheck. I'm a fourth year teacher with my master's degree, like $3,000 worth of taxes taken out from every check. Yay after taxes, my check was five thousand six hundred and ninety one dollars and sixty eight cents. A dual income household, my husband is a plumber. We do have a shared bank account and our paychecks go to specific things. This is everything mine goes to. I pay our mortgage, our mortgage is three thousand seven hundred and forty seven dollars and twenty seven cents. Disgusting, I'm well aware. Our car insurance, our car insurance is three hundred and eleven dollars and seventy cents. Childcare for our daughter, our daughter's childcare is $800 a month. I pay my car payment, which is this car, and that is four hundred and seventeen dollars and seventy nine cents, but I have to pay a 10 dollar convenience fee to pay my car payment early, which is ridiculous. OK, ridiculous. So my car payment is four hundred and twenty seven dollars and seventy nine cents. I pay our other car payment and that is one hundred and ninety three dollars and thirteen cents. Total of bills for that is five thousand four hundred and seventy nine dollars and seventy six cents and that leaves me with two hundred and eleven dollars and ninety two cents from my check. And that's how we budget our money.
