It's finally soup season, y'all. And if it's one thing I love about fall other than the core, it's definitely going to be a good soup. Welcome to my fall soup series where I'll be sharing a variety of different soups that you can try at home for your family. We're going to call this one Soup Saturdays. In this series, there'll be no rights or wrongs. We're allowed to mix any and everything that we want to make a delicious comforting soup. And don't you worry your pretty little heart, I will always have the recipe, so if you need it, let me know. First up on the list is going to be my recipe and I call this one Creamy Bayou Gnocchi Soup. I started off by prepping everything that was going into the pot, my onion, bell pepper, celery, and jalapeno. The meat, which is smoked sausage, chicken, and shrimp. And how can I forget about my cherry tomatoes and gnocchi that definitely brought this soup together. Yes, ma'am. Once I got everything cooking and building flavors together, I started seasoning and of course, as always, you season to your liking because ain't nobody got to eat it but you and your family. For my seasonings, I use garlic powder, onion powder, Fire & Smoke's chicken seasoning, cayenne pepper, and also Honey Jalapeno by Fire & Smoke Society. And of course, I added a little bit of thyme to give it even more flavor. I also made some cheesy French bread to sop up all that goodness. And baby, believe me when I tell you, this soup was a real hit. And for the record, during this series, I'm counting on you to hold me accountable. Yes, you who watching this video right now. Cause your girl has not only jumped head first with doing Soup Saturdays, I've also decided to do What's That Soup Wednesdays. So if I haven't checked in with y'all about these soups by Tuesday evening and Friday evening to let y'all know that the series is on the way, feel free to get on the one of my posts and say, girl, what's the hold up? I'm planning on riding this series out until I can't think of any more recipes and I'm determined to help y'all keep a good meal on the table, especially a good soup recipe. If you enjoyed this video, feel free to save it so you can come back and make it for your family. Don't forget to like, comment and share. All of your engagement helps me to support my family in some way or another. Talk to you later.
