Cheap shit from Walmart that is 100% worth your money and will save you hundreds on unnecessary high-end stuff. I'm a 54-year-old esthetician who specializes in anti-aging and helping women over 40 look their best. So if that's you, keep watching. If you're spending $40 on the Youth to the People cleanser, I'd honestly try this Vitamasques one first. It's around $8, feels really gentle, and still gives you that same fresh, nourished feel after cleansing. And if you love those expensive milky toners like Rhode, this Thayers one is seriously underrated. It has hyaluronic acid and snow mushroom and it gives my skin that same soft, juicy hydration for way less. SkinCeuticals Vitamin C is amazing, but $185 for a serum is insane. This e.l.f. one has the same ingredients for literally $15. Only azelaic acid is another thing I would never spend luxury money on. Allies of Skin has one around $150, but this Naturium 10% is great for redness, uneven tone, and stubborn marks without that price tag. Same thing with hyaluronic acid. You can spend $50 on one or grab this Good Molecules serum for under 10 and still get that really plump, hydrated look that makes fine lines look softer. But what I need more people to understand is no skincare, luxury or cheap, is gonna do as much as taking care of your body internally. So many people over 40 are malnourished and don't even realize it. When your body doesn't have those nutrients for so long, your wrinkles and skin will look 10 times older. That's why I'm so into spirulina. It's so insanely nutrient dense with antioxidants, iron, chlorophyll, plant protein, and minerals, and it floods your body with them to nourish and heal. I take the Auvina spirulina capsules because I hate dealing with the powder, and this is genuinely one of the things I'm most consistent with. Definitely get it from Auvina's website because it's cheaper there than buying it in any store. I'll link it in my bio, or just search Auvina spirulina on Google and it'll come right up.
