How many C-sections can a woman have? Medically speaking, 2-3 C-sections are generally considered within the safer range, but there is no fixed number that applies to every woman. With every repeat C-section, the risk of complications increases. Adhesions can make subsequent surgeries more difficult. The risk of placenta previa/accreta, excessive bleeding and injury to surrounding organs can increase with multiple C-sections. So, after 2-3 C-sections, any further pregnancy needs careful individual assessment and closer monitoring. If you are planning another pregnancy after previous C-sections, regular antenatal check-ups and timely scans are important. Disclaimer: This content is for general educational purposes only.
