NATURAL BRONZER • 1 tsp beeswax: natural barrier + skin protector • 1 tbsp coconut oil: deep hydration • ½ tsp vitamin E oil: antioxidant-rich skin support • 1–2 tsp cacao powder: natural pigment + antioxidants NATURAL BLUSH • 1 tsp beetroot powder: natural pigment • 1 tsp beeswax pellets: texture + hold • 1 tbsp jojoba oil: lightweight moisture • ½ tsp vitamin E oil: antioxidant-rich skin support • 1 tsp coconut oil: hydration NATURAL MASCARA • 1 tsp activated charcoal: pigment • 1 tsp beeswax pellets: texture + hold • 1 tsp castor oil: conditions lashes • 1 tsp avocado oil: nourishment + hydration • ½ tsp vitamin E oil: antioxidant support HOW TO MAKE THEM: I use the double-boiler method for all three. Add your beeswax and oils to a heat-safe bowl over gently simmering water. Stir until completely melted and combined. Remove from the heat, mix in your pigment until evenly incorporated, then transfer to a clean container and allow it to cool and solidify. IMPORTANT BLUSH NOTE: Some people have told me their blush came out grainy. I’ve had this happen myself with one particular brand of beetroot powder. The fineness of the powder makes a huge difference! If this happens, filter the warm mixture through a very fine cheesecloth before it sets. You can also experiment with finely milled hibiscus powder as an alternative for a rosy pigment.
