Here are five things that often show up right before your next chapter changes. And they don't look exciting, they don't look like progress, but they usually show up right before life shifts. First, you suddenly wanna disappear. You don't wanna text anybody back. You don't feel like explaining yourself. You don't even really want people in your business like that anymore. And that doesn't automatically mean something is wrong. Sometimes you just need space to figure out who you're becoming without everybody having access to you while you're doing it. Second, you randomly wanna clean out everything. Your room, your closet, your phone, your habits, and sometimes even the people around you. Because when you're getting ready to step into something new, you start realising how much shit you've been holding on to that you don't even need anymore. You want less noise, less clutter, less confusion. Third, the things you used to love just don't hit the same anymore. Certain conversations start feeling pointless. Certain people don't excite you anymore. Even goals you swore you wanted, it might start feeling like, eh, I don't even know if I want that anymore. And that's okay. You're allowed to outgrow things you once prayed for. Fourth, you start feeling this need to be honest. You're tired of biting your tongue, tired of pretending shit doesn't bother you when it does. Tired of making yourself uncomfortable just so everybody else can stay comfortable. Because the version of you that's coming next doesn't wanna fake shit anymore. And fifth, you can feel something ending even though nothing actually happened. There wasn't some huge argument. Nobody necessarily did anything to you or did something wrong. There wasn't some dramatic moment. You just know something feels different. And sometimes that quiet feeling is the biggest sign that you're getting ready to enter a new season. Life doesn't always give you a huge announcement before everything changes. Sometimes it gets quiet first. So if you've been feeling like this lately, stop automatically assuming you're stuck or that you're doing something wrong. You might just be between who you are and who you're becoming. And that version of you that you've been asking for, she might be a lot closer than you think. Save this and come back to it when everything starts making sense.
