Promoted product

Dr. G

Why it worked

The creator uses a 'secret' and 'NDA' narrative to build artificial scarcity and exclusivity, making the audience feel like they are getting access to insider information.

Summary

The creator announces that the Korean skincare brand Dr. G is now available in the US exclusively through TikTok Shop. She shares her excitement about the brand and encourages viewers to purchase the products from the TikTok Shop cart.

Structure

1Hook: No more gatekeeping
2Reveal: Dr. G is the #1 Korean skincare brand
3Exclusivity: Available only on TikTok Shop
4Personal endorsement: Creator shares her excitement
5CTA: Add to cart now

Product placement

(a) Dr. G (skincare line): The creator holds and displays multiple products from this line, identifies it as the #1 skincare brand in Korea, and states it is exclusive to TikTok Shop. This acts as a product demonstration and recommendation. Removing these products would remove the entire subject of the video. (b) TikTok Shop: Appears as a platform/marketplace for the products. Removing this would change the availability context but not the product itself.

This authentic Korean skincare that just shop exclusively to TikTok Shop. You're not going to find this in store, you're not going to find this online.
