Blanchard told "People" magazine that she believes it was an overdose, but that has not been confirmed by authorities. Ken Urker was found on October 1st in Louisiana. The pair share a young daughter together, Aurora. Blanchard told "People" Ken had experienced, "relentless cyberbullying on TikTok and Reddit." She said quote, "I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment." Blanchard reunited with Urker in 2024 after they had previously been engaged and broke up. Speaking to Extra TV in 2025, Urker explained why he fell in love with Blanchard. Yeah, I mean it was like the chemistry, the connection that we had, the ability to talk for hours on end and not get bored and just realizing that this is very much my person. Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023 after serving more than seven years of a 10-year prison sentence for her role in helping to kill her mother. Blanchard was the victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, where a caregiver fakes their child's illness or induces symptoms to make their child ill. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed to CNN that Urker was found quote "dead upon arrival at 6:15 p.m." CNN has reached out to Blanchard's representatives.
