Last week, I was told I had 24 hours to live if they didn’t stop the bleeding from where I’d fallen and tore a hole through some sort of arterial vessel. They then hooked up to a bunch of wires, left me in a bed for five days wondering when the hell I’d get out of there (or if I would). Now I’m 10 pounds lighter, probably a little weaker, definitely pissed off… and headed straight back to the gym. I know I lost some ground. I know it’s going to hurt. I know I’m not walking back in as strong as I was. I don’t give a fuck. I’ve come back from worse. Time to do it again.
