It’s still unbelievable they thought this looked fine 💀 The Pau’ans are a tall, gaunt humanoid species native to the planet Utapau in the Star Wars galaxy. They are distinguished by their pale, wrinkled skin, sunken eyes, sharp teeth, and elongated bodies, and are sometimes known as “Utapauns.” Pau’ans traditionally inhabit the planet’s deep sinkhole cities, where they developed a culture centered on community, tradition, and cooperation with the planet’s other inhabitants, the Utai. They are generally intelligent and patient, with a formal and somewhat reserved manner of speaking. Their long lifespans and distinctive appearance contribute to their reputation as mysterious and imposing figures. Pau’ans played an important role during the final years of the Galactic Republic. Their most notable representative is Grand General Grievous’s ally, Governor Tion Medon, who secretly opposed the Separatist occupation of Utapau and helped Obi-Wan Kenobi locate Grievous. During the Clone Wars, Utapau became a major Separatist stronghold, ultimately leading to the confrontation between Obi-Wan and Grievous. After Grievous’s defeat and the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Pau’ans continued to inhabit Utapau, although the planet came under Imperial control.
