Antarctica is seeking volunteers and workers with some roles paying up to £100,000 a year. ❄️💰 The Australian Antarctic Program is recruiting people to live and work at its research stations in Antarctica, with some positions offering annual pay packages worth up to £100,000 once allowances are included. Successful applicants receive free accommodation, meals and additional isolation allowances while spending up to a year on the frozen continent. The programme isn't just looking for scientists. Roles are available across a wide range of professions, including IT specialists, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, mechanics, chefs, doctors, meteorologists and biologists. Applications for the 2027/28 Antarctic season are due to open throughout October, with workers helping to support scientific research in one of the most remote environments on Earth. The catch?
