Download “marhaba!” to learn Arabic 🧩 Link in Bio Naḥw or ṣarf: what's the difference? 🧩 Naḥw is the ending: اللَّه can end in -u, -a or -i, and its place in the sentence decides which. Ṣarf is the build: كَتَبَ and سَمِعَ sit on the pattern فَعَلَ, and the ي in يَسْمَعُ isn't part of the root. You don't have to be Sībawayh. But get one ending wrong and “Only the scholars fear Allah” becomes “Allah fears the scholars.” #quranicarabic #learnarabic #arabiclanguage
