Why it worked

The video uses a relatable 'POV' hook and a 'before/after' transformation format, which effectively demonstrates the barber's skill and builds trust with potential clients.

Summary

A barber performs an Edgar haircut on a client in Vancouver, showcasing his skills and the transformation process. The video concludes with a call to action to book an appointment through the barber's bio link.

Structure

1Barber and client discuss the desired Edgar haircut style
2Barber begins the haircut process, thinning and shaping the hair
3Barber performs a low to mid taper and adds texture
4Final reveal of the haircut to the client
5Client expresses satisfaction and encourages viewers to book an appointment

Product placement

LVLS Hair and Beauty Studio (a) ACTS: the barber operates his tools here to perform a haircut, and the video is a demonstration of his service; removing it would change the video entirely. Booksy (a) ACTS: the creator's bio link directs viewers to this platform to book an appointment at the studio; removing it would remove the call to action.
