They work across different areas like healthcare delivery, pharmacy, technology, and data. And this particular role that I want to share today supports the medical billing side of the business. So this is the billing representative and basically this is all handling medical billing and insurance claims from home. The main goal within this job is making sure that the medical claims are billed correctly, followed up on, and reimbursed appropriately. So in addition to what I just mentioned, this person is also processing claims, following up with insurance companies, researching and resolving billing issues, reviewing data for accuracy, creating report, working with internal teams, and handling a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy. So this is beginner friendly. A high school diploma or GED is just enough in order to fulfill the basic education requirements. And it's only preferred, not required if you have at least one year of related office, administrative, clerical, or customer service experience. And billing or collections experience is only preferred, but not required at all, which is awesome. So if you are someone with experience with customer service, perhaps you've worked in the retail field, food industry, call centre, hospitality. Perhaps you have worked in administration, clerical work, billing, collections, or even healthcare. This is great for someone who is comfortable working with computers and handling detailed information. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible work hours within the 7:00am to 4 PM Pacific Time period, and occasional overtime may be required. The pay is from $18 all the way up to $32 per hour. And how much you get paid depends on different factors like your education, your experience, where you're located across the U.S. Those have a lot to do with how much you would be paid.
