Why it worked

The video provides high-value, actionable utility by solving a common professional pain point (creating presentations) using a tool many viewers already have access to, making the promotion feel like helpful advice.

Summary

The creator demonstrates three time-saving features of Microsoft Copilot for PowerPoint users. She then directs viewers to her website for additional AI training guides.

Structure

1Introduction to Copilot efficiency
2Demonstrating document to deck conversion
3Demonstrating automated speaker notes
4Demonstrating deck summarization

Product placement

Microsoft Copilot: (a) ACTS — the creator demonstrates its interface, uses it to generate a presentation from a document, generate speaker notes, and summarize a long deck. Removing it would change the entire video. AI Prepper: (a) ACTS — the creator promotes her own website and guides as the destination for the viewer to learn more, and the brand name appears on screen. Removing it would change the CTA and the purpose of the video.

You don't need to be an AI expert to start using Copilot. If your company is paying for Copilot, there are three PowerPoint tricks nobody told you about. One, turn a doc into a deck. Save your doc to OneDrive, open a blank PowerPoint, click Copilot, and choose create a new presentation from file. Then prompt it. Turn this into a 6-page slide deck for my client. One idea per slide, short headlines. A deck that used to take me an afternoon now takes me 10 minutes, easy peasy. Two, never write speaker notes ever again. With your deck open, prompt it, write speaker notes for every slide, conversational, about 30 seconds each. Three, did some bozo send you a 60-page slide deck? Save it to OneDrive, click Copilot, and then prompt it. Summarize this presentation into 10 bullets and list any decisions it's asking me to make. This is AI Made Stupid Simple.
