Artist Asha (luashaa) creates handmade accessories and small sculptural objects filled with playful characters, strange creatures and colorful details. For her autumn collection, she transforms hair barrettes and hair pins (Artvangarde)into miniature wearable sculptures. Pumpkins, skulls, bats and this one-eyed zombie-like character are sculpted into glossy three-dimensional forms, with the fastening mechanism becoming part of the object itself. Asha’s work moves between illustration, clay sculpture and accessory design.
