↳This is a convenience and not mandatory, however, you will still need to fill out the form at immigration on paper if you decide not to do the digital version. ↳It’s never to soon to fill out this form. You can fill it out the moment you have your passport, flights, and Hotel address. ↳You can add up to 10 people onto one account. This does not condense the QR Codes down to one though. ↳You can add friends to the same account as long as the friend is okay with you having access to their passport and personal information. ↳Infants, children, & teens need their own QR Code —as silly as that sounds. ↳If you have multiple flights to get to your destination in Japan, you will put the last flight down always. ↳The form will only ask for one address, I typically select the address that I will stay at first because it’s where I’m headed towards after immigration. ↳You can add multiple trips on the website. ↳Once you go through immigration they will give you a sticker with a Tax Free QR Code. You can upload that onto the Visit Japan Web website and screen shot the QR to show to get Tax Free off instead of your passport. HOWEVER, This is not a replacement for the you as legal IDENTIFICATION or to replace your passport.
