Okay, somebody should have been told me that this is only 90 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina. If you've been looking for the perfect weekend getaway for you and your family, a gift, you and your partner, Horizon Sandhills was perfect. Only a 90 minute drive from Charlotte, North Carolina, this is located in Patrick, South Carolina. The scenery was beautiful, the activities was fun. Honestly, we had a ball. We got there a little late, so right before bed we decided to just hop in the sauna and see what it's talking about. And the vibes was so good. When we woke up, we sat on the porch for a little bit of family time and then we got started on breakfast. We wasn't playing y'all. After breakfast, we got an itinerary. We going to the lake. It's straight outdoor time. Everything was just so gorgeous. The lake was huge and they had so many water sports to do. I brought my fishing pole to see what we can catch and I didn't catch nothing. They had paddle boards, these water bikes, canoes. We all know how to swim, but I'm a little paranoid. I'm the only one that put a life jacket on, but I don't care. I've never been in a canoe before and definitely not by myself, so I was scared, but it was so much fun y'all. After we finished spending the first half of the morning at the lake, we had to get on these e-bikes. I've never been on an e-bike before. I got to see what it's talking about. It felt like this bike was going 55 miles per hour. I think it was only going 15. I've been having a tough week and I actually needed this escape from reality. No phones, no TV, just fun with my family. This is exactly what I needed. So if you don't know where your next vacation is going to be, Horizon Sandhills would be my number one option.
