I’m with the Afar people in Ethiopia learning one of their traditional ways of styling hair, and I still can’t believe I used cow fat/butter and a wooden curling stick to get these coils 😭 The technique is basically wrapping small sections of hair around the stick to create defined curls, almost like finger coils without using your finger. I thought this was going to be one of the wildest routines I’ve tried, but the definition actually came out crazy.
