So, my 7 year old was reincarnated from my great grandmother and she was born with a veil. And sometimes we'll go out. First of all, she knows everybody in Columbus. I have no idea. But like, we'll go somewhere and they'll be like, "Hey, Duke." And she'll go, "That's Miss such and such. That's Mr. such and such." So we were in the gas station this morning, and there was this lady standing there and her hand was by her side. And my daughter pulled my shirt and she says, "That was her grandmom's ring." And the lady looks back and she goes, "Who is she talking to?" I said, "Well, she wasn't talking to you. She was telling me that that was her grandmom's ring." And the lady says, "I rebuke you in Jesus' name." And the lady's husband was like, "That's just a little kid, but that was your grandmom's ring." She said, "All these devils and stuff like that do stuff like that." He said, "She's a little kid. How is she a devil?" And he looked at me and said, "I'm sorry." I said, "It's okay. Everybody doesn't have the same spiritual beliefs." So my daughter, being my daughter, has to take it a step further. She said, "Well, your grandmom's name is Hattie, and she's resting in that cemetery over there around the corner." And then the lady's hands like started shaking. And the husband was like, "That's true." And then she looks at the man and she says, "Wait." This is something an old person would say, honestly. "I'm sorry, trouble don't last always. You hung in there." And he goes, "I did. I did." She says, "You got a picture of your mommy in your wallet, right?" And this whole time this man is like looking around. And see, the people at the gas station already know about my daughter's gift, so they think it's hilarious when she says things like that. She takes the man's hand and says, "Thank you for believing me." But then she looked at her hand and went, "Mommy, do you have hand sanitizer?" She had that lady so shook, like you can see her shaking walking out of the store. And the husband kept looking back and he said, "How can little kids do that?" And the wife was like, "I think it's the devil. I just think it's the devil." My daughter's not a devil. My daughter has a spiritual gift, just like a lot of people do. And I'm not going to stop her from speaking her truth, because my baby, she going to have a Netflix series one day. But I hope this story made your morning, have the day you deserve.
