ARSENAL ANNOUNCE 60 JOB CUTS JUST A WEEK AFTER MIKEL ARTETA SIGNS A £20M-A-YEAR DEAL. ⚽️💰 The Premier League club has informed around 60 members of staff that their jobs are at risk as part of a review aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency. The proposed cuts are expected to affect off-field departments, while coaching and performance staff, the academy, community teams and security are understood to be unaffected. The announcement comes just seven days after Arteta signed a new four-year contract reportedly worth around £20 million a year, making him one of the highest-paid managers in football. Arsenal recorded a record £691 million in revenue for the 2024/25 financial year but still reported a loss, as the club looks to control rising operating costs. The redundancies are not yet finalised, with a consultation process under way. #ThisIsMoney #Money #News #UK
