Hook
So here's how people with ADHD see time. All right, it's 2:47. Let's say I have to be somewhere at 5:00. Okay, so it's 2:47, which really means it's actually 3:00 in our heads, which means it's really like closer to 3:30, so I should totally start getting ready. So if I have to be there at 5:00, that means I have to leave here around 4:30, which means I have to be ready by 4:00. So I really don't have that much time to get ready for wherever I'm going. Also, in the time between now and then, I have no time to do anything else. I just have to sit here and prepare and get ready for what I'm about to do in a couple hours. But I also have to like, you know, hurry up and get ready. So if I have something to do at 5:00, and then I wake up, let's say I wake up at 7:00 in the morning, and I have something to do at 5:00, I will think about the thing that I have to do at 5:00 for the entire day until it's time to do that. So, with that said, um, I should go get ready because I'm kind of running late.
