She’s done! Please, whoever buys this when I add it to my shop on November 15, do not break it to free the babies because this took me over two months to make! Jokes aside (hopefully), I’m so happy with how this chicken “mamaraca” turned out. I wanted to make a bigger one with more babies inside to see what it would sound like, and the sound result was really surprising and pleasant! Fully fired ceramics are very strong, so I don’t think the babies will get too broken up in there with all the shaking. Although we’ll never see the Chippy and Cookie triplet birdies again, we can always remember them through these videos and with their sgraffito likenesses, which I carved onto the mama hen! #ViralChickenMaraca #ChickenMaraca #CeramicChickenArt #TrappedClayBirdies #HandbuiltCeramics
