🎄📸 DIY Baby’s First Christmas Photoshoot on a Budget! 🎅🏼✨ You don’t need an expensive camera, professional equipment, or a big budget to capture magical Christmas memories of your little one! ❤️ When I first started my photography journey, all I had was my iPhone, a little creativity, and a VERY small budget. And that’s exactly how I created my daughter’s first Christmas photoshoot! 🥹🎄 Here’s exactly how I did it! 📱 TIP #1: Record videos instead of taking pictures! My daughter was a fussy baby, and getting her to sit still long enough for the perfect picture was nearly impossible! So instead of taking hundreds of photos, I recorded videos of each setup. Once we finished, I went back through the footage, paused on my favorite moments, and screenshotted the still frames I loved most! This little trick helped me capture the sweetest, most natural expressions without stressing over getting the perfect shot in the moment! 🎄 TIP #2: Dollar store decorations are your best friend! Almost everything I used came straight from the dollar store! ✨ Baby’s First Christmas Santa hat ✨ Christmas string lights ✨ Christmas ornaments ✨ A little cup for Santa’s milk No expensive props necessary! 🎁 TIP #3: Create a magical glowing Christmas present! This was one of my favorite setups! I took an empty Amazon box, wrapped it in Christmas wrapping paper, and placed my phone inside with the flashlight turned on and facing outward to create the illusion of a glowing Christmas present! My daughter was absolutely fascinated by the lights, which made capturing her natural curiosity SO much easier! 🍪 TIP #4: Make your own Santa’s milk and cookies! This is where my incredibly artistic mom came in! 🥛 She added white paint inside our dollar store cup to give the appearance of milk. 🍪 She also handmade the cookies using Styrofoam, shaping and painting them to look like real Christmas cookies! Everything was created with materials we already had or could find inexpensively. And here’s what I want parents to take away from this… ❤️ You don’t have to be a professional photographer to create beautiful memories of your children. You don’t need a fancy camera, an expensive studio, or hundreds of dollars in props. Sometimes all you need is your phone, a little imagination, and the willingness to get creative! I started my photography journey with an iPhone and a vision, and looking back, these are still some of my absolute favorite photographs of my daughter. Because years from now, your children won’t care what camera you used or how much money you spent. They’ll just have those beautiful memories to look back on. 🥹❤️ Save this for your baby’s Christmas photoshoot, and follow along for more budget-friendly photography tips, DIY setups, and creative ways to capture memories at home! 📸 Manda Lee Photography #DIYChristmasPhotoshoot
