OPENAI EMPLOYEES IN LONDON RECEIVED AN AVERAGE OF £2.3 MILLION A YEAR IN SALARY AND SHARES. 🤖💰 Accounts for OpenAI UK, the company behind ChatGPT, show that its 110 employees shared £87 million in wages and salaries and £168 million in share-based compensation in 2025. That works out at an average total package of approximately £2.3 million per employee, around 58 times the median annual earnings of a full-time UK worker. However, the figure does not mean every employee takes home millions.
