If you try to reward your dog for walking nicely on leash, and he immediately starts pulling your head after eating a treat, try this instead. A nose touch to hand interrupts the forward movement, but tossing the treat behind you means your dog is anticipating backwards instead of forwards. This interrupts the cycle and creates a new habit instead.
