Hand-poured in Texas, our sustainable, plastic-free home fragrances are cruelty-free and designed to transform daily rituals into moments of calm, clarity, and beauty.

Why it worked

The video leverages the authentic, high-emotion 'founder moment' of seeing one's own product in a major retail store for the first time, which builds significant social proof and brand trust.

Summary

The creator, who owns the home fragrance brand Iluxir, visits an HEB grocery store and discovers that her candles have been put on the shelves a day earlier than expected. She shares her excitement about seeing her products in a retail setting and notes that customers have already started purchasing them.

Structure

1Creator arrives at HEB after the gym
2Discovers her own candle brand on the shelves
3Expresses surprise that they launched early

Product placement

(a) Iluxir: The creator shows her own brand of candles on the shelf at HEB. She identifies them as her own brand, explains they launched early, and expresses excitement about seeing them in the store. Removing this would remove the entire point of the video. (b) HEB: The grocery store where the video is filmed. It appears as the location and the retailer for the candles. Removing this would change the setting but not the product being promoted.

Transcript

I just came here literally after gym, that's why I look like this. And our candles have already launched. They were supposed to launch tomorrow, but they're already here. Oh my god. And somebody's already bought like two of them. They literally just put it out today and somebody's already bought two of them. That's crazy. And these look so beautiful. Like, oh my god, I love them.
