If your car got stolen last week, there's probably a good chance it's on its way to Africa right now, getting unloaded from a shipping container. But the craziest part is just how easily and how quick these cars get there. If you've never seen these videos of luxury and performance cars getting unloaded from shipping containers in Africa, you've got to see them, because they get some seriously crazy cars and their lot probably looks better than your local luxury dealership. See, most of these expensive cars are all stolen from the same place, somewhere around New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and that's probably because the biggest international seaport lives right across the water from Manhattan in Elizabeth, New Jersey. And there's a high chance that once the thieves are done joyriding your car for the night, they're taking it straight to the docks to get it sent to Africa. But why Africa of all places? Well, in African countries, it's extremely easy to fake a title, and they don't have the same computer systems and history that we do. And in some countries, you barely even need a title to register the car. And they don't really care if it gets scratched or banged up, they do cushion it sometimes with mattresses or old tires, but they got the car for like zero dollars and they sell it for like 15k. So as long as they have a piece of paper that says, hey, I own this car, they're not asking questions. So to whoever's pink M550 this is, with a carbon fiber hood, exit exhaust, I'm sorry, but they're having the time of their lives with it. And if your car got stolen last week, I hope you got insurance, because some Nigerian businessman is driving that thing to work.
