I'm a neglected cat. I'm a liked cat. And I'm a spoiled cat. So which of the most popular cat bowls actually filters bacteria? Well, my parents didn't know this, but regular still bowls like this can hold a ton of bacteria, parasites, and even biofilm, which is not only pretty dangerous to drink from, but it also leads to dehydration, especially because up to 90% of cats already don't drink as much water as they should from these regular bowls. This can further lead to a lot of health problems like UTIs, kidney damage, and even organ failure. And this is why I love my parents, because they got me this fountain that actually flows, so it actually incentivizes me to drink more water. The only bad thing is that the contaminants sit directly on top of the fountain, and the water doesn't get cycled enough, so it still has that same nasty slime build-up like in the still water bowl. On top of that, the filters are really cheaply made, so you're going to have to be buying new ones all the time, and the wire is actually in the water, which is a huge safety risk. If only their parents knew that if they upgraded to this one, not only is it cheaper, but it's also a lot better for their cat's overall health. Because this one already filtered out all those contaminants on top, and I'll even add more in here so you can see exactly how this drain works. The water gets cycled and filtered at a much faster rate than that previous fountain, so the water stays super clean and it's really quiet. And the top wicks away any of that nasty slime build-up, so it also stays really fresh. Plus, it holds 2.1 liters of water, so I only have to refill mine every two to three weeks. And because it's constantly moving, this not only encourages your cat to drink more, but they also stay hydrated throughout the entire day. This means you don't need to be refilling it all the time or constantly cleaning it out every single day. But the best part is that these were on a pretty insane sale last I checked, making them even more affordable. But the only problem is that sale is for a limited time, so I'll try and do you a favor and put the link somewhere down there, but I'd just be quick before they raise the price again.
