Hook
Hey everybody. I'm here, uh, on 20th and Eye Street in Washington DC, and there's been a massive power outage, uh, throughout a part of the city. It goes all the way down to 17th. I'm not big on DC geography, but, uh, I've got signs here for the National Mall, George Washington University, Farragut Square, Lafayette Square. Uh, so I couldn't really tell you exactly where I'm at. I'm just walking around getting coffee. The power went out approximately 8:45, I think. The hotel elevator shut down. We went on to emergency generators. Talking to several people, uh, construction folks in the area, and they have been talking to others who said that the power goes all the way down to 17th. So it is not a citywide blackout, but it is part of the city. It doesn't appear to be anything nefarious, so you'll see conspiracy theories pop up. Haven't seen any indications of that so far. But if you are in DC and you are in a certain portion, uh, all the way down to 17th, it looks like at least from 20th down to 17th, then you're probably, uh, experiencing some power outage. I talked to an individual who's worked in one of the buildings for eight years. He's seen this happen, but not to this scale. So it is a big part of the city. Right now, it looks like construction crews are working in several areas. I would imagine that this is gonna be a high priority for city officials to get this line back up and operating. And again, 2 PM today, Trump will be giving comments at the Lincoln Memorial about the reflecting pool. So if you can be there to express your dissatisfaction, I think that would be great. Okay. Thank you.
