What in the world tore through the Washington D.C. and the Virginia area overnight? And why do I say that? Because right before midnight, an intense, insanely crazy storm tore through the Washington D.C. and the Virginia area, bringing wind gusts up to 60 to 70 miles per hour. And people are claiming there was no warning about it whatsoever. Have a look at some of these intense, crazy videos for yourself. Just look at this. Sheets of rain can be seen with rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning in the distance. Just take a look at some of the wind gusts associated with this system that pushed through the D.C. Virginia area. Right before midnight. Just insane. And a resident shared their view from a high rise in D.C. Just listen to this. Unbelievable. And this was the storm as it approached Virginia. Look at the amount of lightning associated with this system. Just unbelievable. Just take a look at this image that was captured on the radar. Just take a look at that bow and how intense that storm was when it came through D.C. and Virginia.
