Louisiana Rub Wings (Wingstop Copycat) 🌶️🍗 Crispy air fryer wings tossed in butter and a smoky, spicy Louisiana dry rub. Ready in about 30 minutes. Ingredients: - 700g chicken wings (about 8 wings) - 1 tbsp oil - 1 tbsp cornstarch - 1 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp black pepper - 1/2 tsp onion powder - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper For the Louisiana rub: - 1 tbsp butter, melted - 1 tbsp paprika (smoked if you have it) - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp onion powder - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp chili powder - 1/2 tsp dried oregano - 1/2 tsp dried thyme - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp black pepper - 1 tsp brown sugar (optional, for a tiny sweet backnote) Steps: 1. Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels — this is what makes them crispy. 2. Toss them with the oil, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne until evenly coated. 3. Air fry at 400°F / 200°C for 22-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden, crispy, and the internal temp hits 165°F / 74°C. Single layer — don't crowd them. 4. While they cook, mix the rub in a small bowl: the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, chili powder, oregano, thyme, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar. 5. Right before the wings come out, melt the butter. 6. Toss the hot wings in the melted butter until every wing is coated, then sprinkle the rub over and toss hard until it sticks all over. 7. Serve them right away while they're hot and crispy, and enjoy! #louisianarub #wingstop #chickenwings #airfryer #Recipe
