Why Do People Buy NFTs?

Big question I get all the time is why do people want to buy these stupid cartoon pictures? I mean, I know they make money, but what is the reasoning for people buying them in the first place? Bored Ape Yacht Club is the biggest, so we're gonna use them for example. So number one, we're gonna obviously go with exclusivity. Everybody wants to be exclusive. Everybody want to feel like they are a part of something. It's been a part of human nature since before we can remember. You know like the team Jordans you could have got for $96, but instead you wanted the $220 retro. You could have spent $25,000 on that brand new Toyota, but instead you spent $50,000 on that new Mercedes. You could have got the regular shit, just wanted to be exclusive. Second reason they buy them is utility. You know, like the benefits you get for holding such projects. Like the fact that they dropped their ApeCoin, their new cryptocurrency. And if you own the Bored Ape, they dropped you 10,000 coins. And at the time that they dropped it, it was $7. You do the math. And the fact that the coin is $11.08 as of right now. You do the math. And not to mention Ape Week. You know the yacht parties and fancy dinners and exclusive merchandise that they have every year for their holders. Get in now or wise early.
