UGC is just short form for user generated content. Like literally everybody does UGC in one form or another and they don't even know it. If you've ever been to a restaurant and you posted on your story what restaurant you're at or the food, that was an example of user generated content. So it's any content created by a consumer outside of the brand. Now how does that relate to creators? You know those videos that you're seeing on TikTok ads, Instagram reels, on Facebook, everywhere, they're literally everywhere, but they're they're ads but they're not really salesy. Like it just looks so natural and authentic and like you can relate to the person. So that, my friends, is what UGC creators create. Create content that is authentic and relatable. That is why you're not scrolling past those ads because they literally draw you in because it's like, oh, this is cool. This is just like somebody regular. Consumers are way more likely now to buy products or use a service because they're seeing regular people using them. They don't want to have like that full blown production ad. It's like they just scroll past. It's like, all right, it's another ad. Boom. So that's the direction that brands and businesses are now headed towards because they need that content that their consumers can relate to and the target audience that they're going for. Now a little plug of self promotion if I will. No, but all jokes aside, I am a UGC creator. So if you're a brand or a business that's looking for a UGC creator that is for your target audience, I am your girl. I'm a mother of four, I'm a fitness instructor, I've got a home gym. Like I I'm just very divert. I love skincare, I love beauty. I'm an athlete, I play every single sport. Got curly hair, I'm always going out, I'm always trying to have fun with my family. So maybe I'm that UGC creator for you. Follow and like for more tips.
