Influencers are paid for their influence. That means a brand paid you to post on your own page because you already have an audience there. UGC creators are paid for their content. That means a brand is paying you to create photos or videos that they can then use on their website, their social media, or for ads. That's why UGC is such a great starting point if you've got a smaller following because your follower account is not the product, your content is. You can still grow your community and you should. It helps with credibility and helps brands find you, although it's not a requirement for you to start getting paid.
