What brand or product line would I build out for the Kardashians? If you remember back in the day when Kylie started getting exposed for getting lip injections and we had that whole thing with her sucking on shot glasses and people like shattering their lips, it was shortly after that that we got this, the first generation Kylie lip kits. The Kardashians are phenomenal at capitalizing on viral moments and building meaningful brands around them. Kylie lip kits is the perfect example of that. Now the two Jenners that I think fall short though are Kendall and Courtney. So let's start with Kendall. The brand closely aligned with Kendall is 818 Tequila. She's also received a ton of backlash on it, everything from cultural appropriation to it being a complete rip-off of 512 Tequila. The biggest issue with 818 Tequila is it doesn't make any sense for Kendall. There's nothing about her that screams tequila. There's no fun story behind it, the branding isn't that unique, and it didn't capitalize on a moment which the Kardashians are really good at. In my opinion, what they should have done is align with this moment right here. I think Kendall should come out with a beginner's cooking kit. Knives, guides, or pots, things that make it really easy for beginners. I think she could align this with like a YouTube series of her actually learning how to cook and doing fun beginner recipes. But more importantly, it turns this moment into one that they can capitalize on. Because right now this is kind of what she's known for. But moving on. For Courtney, the brand most aligned with her right now is Poosh, which to me has also always felt kind of weird. I don't feel like there's anything particularly interesting about the way that Courtney lives or super unique in comparison to her sisters or any other high-end celebrity that warranted her having a blog about lifestyle stuff. It also goes back to it wasn't capitalizing on anything. It wasn't capitalizing on an identity and it wasn't capitalizing on a moment. I think Courtney and Travis should team up and create a sexual wellness brand. I think there's a ton of ways that they can angle it. Creating it for a demographic that's like 35 and up, creating it for a demographic that wants to explore different things within their sexuality. And what I like about it is it aligns with everything that we're seeing from Courtney right now. We're seeing a ton of PDA, we're hearing constantly about their relationship, even hearing constantly about their sex lives. And I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we did see a sexual wellness brand come out from them in the next like six months to a year.
