like I think you smell kinda bad can you put on deodorant or just to to remind her Back in 2018 I was working with this foreign exchange student named Dora. She was from China. She was like the absolute best. I loved her so much. We became super good friends. We sat right next to each other at work. And it made me realize how different the social norms were for her versus for like Americans and very specifically for like instance one day we were scrolling through my Instagram page and we're scrolling down the page and she's like wow you look really different. I was like yeah like I've gained a little bit of weight since then. She goes yeah like 100 pounds. I was like I didn't gain 100 pounds for the record. Another time I just came into work. This was during the era of like 2018. My cats. Kale. This was during the era of like the contour wherever everyone was doing like the super snatched contour look. Right? So I did my contour and I came into work and she's like what is on your face? And I was like oh like I just do like this contour look like oh like I guess maybe I didn't blend it in well enough. She goes it looks like soy sauce all over your face. Dora. So yeah, I pretty much roasted every single day at work. We're still friends. I love her. But yeah, very different cultural norms.
