Getting started with Scala

So I started learning Scala with the course on Coursera by Martin Odersky. I learned the fundamental one and I also finished the second one I think. But by the time I finished the second one, things were just not connecting in my brain. I understand each individual concept, but I don't see the whole picture. And at the time, my manager recommended me to take, uh, Rock the JVM courses by Daniel something, right? I don't remember his full name. But you can just search Rock the JVM. I took it on Udemy and you can directly go to his website as well. I took the advanced Scala course with Rock the JVM and I feel like it's better structured and it's more from a user's perspective, whereas Martin Odersky explains something about the design philosophy sometimes. And if I were to do it again, I would just start off with Rock the JVM from the beginning. But if you just want to learn the fundamentals, I don't think it makes that big of a difference where do you start. But if you want to move on to the advanced stuff, I definitely recommend Rock the JVM courses. My only tiny issue with it was that it was not fully updated for Scala 3, uh, the time I took it, which is a common problem for a lot of Scala tutorials. You just have to be mindful like something are different in Scala. There are additions, there are changes. Hope that helps.
