morning Would you watch my vlogs? So I just wake up and I hear something and it's Nick now he's trying to convince me to come into bed to relax for 2 minutes 2 minutes so he keeps saying 2 minutes I don't have 2 minutes it's 6:50 Mid-Day Squares 1944 today we're just looking to kinda build our rolodex because Sherif and Richard are really working to automate the facility as much as possible in the coming year We'll see what's on the floor today 13 year old Lez would be blown away by where I am and what I'm doing In school, because I didn't learn in the traditional way There was a lot of negativity around how I was going to develop in my career but today, I'm here at a metalworking show looking for ways to improve the automation of a chocolate bar factory that I built 3 years ago knowing nothing "A creative would never be able to build a chocolate factory" NEVER these are just bullsh*t things that people tell you and so you just got to go out there and do it and if you fail, that's okay failure's part of becoming successful The show was, it was fine The show was, it was fine I mean it wasn't everything we expected but we found one or 2 leads it's good to have these manufacturers in your back pocket We won't be back I tried to give the lady feedback at the reception but I don't think she was open to it She asked me "how was the show?" so she opened it, I wasn't giving... But she was just doing it like "ah how was the show" well don't do it if you don't want the true response When we started Mid Day Squares our first thought wasn't to become a manufacturer I think it's when we realized that... we couldn't get the product manufactured for us without making a substantial investment We had to go down that road of manufacturing So I took the project on it was really discouraging at the beginning I'm not going to lie But it was so cool Obviously Mid-Day Squares manufacturing plant is V1 and it still pumps out 55,000 bars in one shift but it's still just the beginning of what our plant is eventually going to look like I love it, honestly I love it Imk if you want to see more of these types of vlogs ❤️
