If you started dropshipping within the last month, you're making one mistake that beginners included. I say this because I want you to save this video for later. Anyways, you need to make sure that your website is actually built out correctly and that it's actually functional. After all, you're going to be putting money behind your ads and people are going to be visiting your store. So it's best to make sure that they can actually check out. I highly recommend that you visit your store from the homepage, click on your product, add your product to cart, go through the whole checkout and make a test purchase with your card. If it goes through, then great, you've actually set up your site correctly. But let's just say that you did set up your site right. In 2023, most consumers actually have caught on to dropshipping, mainly because of people like me who have made the business model so well-known. So with that being said, you can't just throw up a website and just expect to make sales. I vaguely remember when I was 17 and first getting into this. I was like three stores down. This was like my third store that I was really trying to make happen and I spent around 6 to 8 hours just building out that store, trying to make it perfect. If your store looks scammy or just looks like you threw it up yesterday, chances are you're not going to be able to convert that many people into actual customers. Five years ago, you could get away with a site that looked like it was built out in an hour, but nowadays, not so much. Customers know what to look for and they know that they can go build their own website. So if your website looks like something that they would build, they're not going to purchase from that. These customers also recognize low quality product images from high quality product images. In today's day and age, it's probably best practice to mimic some of the top e-commerce brands out there, like Kylie Cosmetics, or even you can look at a site like BlendJet and mimic essentially their overall feel. The best sites are the ones that give off this more branded appeal. They make it seem like you're the one and only place to get that product, or at least a higher quality version than what Amazon actually offers. Also, imported reviews from sites like AliExpress really don't hurt, as if you really think about it and you actually look it up, 90% of customers say that reviews actually help them to determine whether or not they're going to purchase a product. Anyways, if you want to learn how you can further your site and make it just look overall better, follow for more dropshipping tips and tricks.
